Typically Samsung devices are released about a month after they're announced, but that might not happen this year. Instead, a few reports have suggested the Galaxy Note 5 will be available around the globe on August 21st. That's only a week after the 13th launch date we keep hearing about, which would be the fastest Note release in history. This has been mentioned by an AT&T rep too, lending credence to all the rumors.

While none of this has been confirmed, even the 13th launch date, it's all coming from pretty strong sources. LG launched the G4 a few months earlier than any G-phone in history to get the drop on Samsung and Apple, but now Samsung's releasing its new phone a few months earlier too.
