The new LG G4 is an awesome smartphone. It has one of the best cameras around, a beautiful design, and genuine handmade leather backs users can buy. On top of that it has a removable back and replaceable battery, and a micro-SD slot for expanding storage. Samsung did away with those features on the Galaxy S6, and might do the same on the Note 5.

That said, the Note 4 was the first Samsung Galaxy device to truly have a great design, and it was made with aluminum edges, and that carried over to the all glass and aluminum Galaxy S6 this year. We're expecting more of that with the Note 5, which could cause some problems.

The Design rumors suggest Samsung's Note 5 won't have a removable battery or a micro-SD slot, two things previous owners love that are missing from the Galaxy S6. It could have a micro-SD slot, but don't expect the battery to be accessible or replaceable. Both of those features are included on the LG G4.

The Galaxy Note 5 will be the best Note ever released. It will have a premium design better than last year, but that could come with a few sacrifices. If you don't care for the premium design, the LG G4 still looks and feels great, but has those things the Note 5 might leave out. It's worth waiting though, just in case Samsung pulls it off.
