We still don't know everything about Samsung's new devices, and that includes the price of the Edge Plus. That being said, based off of similar devices and prices from previous years we have a pretty good idea of what to expect.

If the device is anything like the Note Edge last year it will retail for over $800 outright, but be cheaper on contract. If there are multiple different storage configurations we could have a $699 32GB option, and go up from there. There are no solid details on a price yet, and don't expect pricing to be revealed on the 13th either. Those will come later from carriers and partners.

That said, the LG G4 will be cheaper no matter what. So if price is an issue, the G4 is the answer. It comes with 32GB of storage and a micro-SD slot for $199 on contract, or $549 outright. Some carriers (like T-Mobile) are asking over $600 though. The Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will almost certainly be $299 with a new 2-year contract, which is one more thing to consider.

All said and done, the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is surely be the better device on paper, and at first glance, but everyone has different needs, wants, and budgets. If you don't need the latest and greatest, that fancy curved screen, or a fingerprint scanner and don't want to wait, grab the impressive LG G4 right now, from any major US carrier.

We'll know more on Thursday when Samsung takes the stage and formally announces everything. Stay tuned.
