In what has to be the weirdest accessory I've ever seen, Samsung announced a Blackberry-like "Samsung Keyboard Cover" at the event. This is a snap-on hard case that also has an additional snap-on keyboard that looks just like a Blackberry. Maybe they're trying to steal some of those who still use an outdated BB device. Snap on the case, then snap on the keyboard and type away, if the regular on-screen keyboard or voice typing isn't your thing. The hard case offers a decent amount of protection, and when you're done just snap off the keyboard and leave it in your back, or snap it on the back so it's out of the way of that beautiful 5.7-inch screen and the regular keyboard. The keyboard we're all plenty used to using by now. It isn't yet listed on Samsung site, but is coming soon. Not sure who will buy it, but we'll reserve judgement until we try it ourselves. It does have a home, back, and multitask button as well. Just weird. | |||||||||||

I do think a protective case is a must for the protection, and it’s best if a protective case could keep the Note 5 original fashion design,luckily now on amazon you could find some of them and this dotted case should be most impressive:

This is a custom designed galaxy note 5 case from Fliptroniks that has great drop protection, and some very good grip. Its extremely light weight to hold in your hand and very thin. Great for everyday activites https://goo.gl/Swhc29

Worst thing ever. I just bought the Note 5, 64Gb and also this $80 case (RIP OFF) and wasn’t told I’d need any screen protectors (clear film type) to stop the scratching. This case has SCREWED my brand new phone. All the scratches on it can’t be fixed and I’ve even got a deep gouge in one section. Want to know why!? This is PLASTIC. It gets static electricity build up and holds on to particles which then get rubbed around between the case cover and the screen. I’m going to be emailing Samsung about this. I’m so angry about the damage done to my new phone. I did not mistreat it and I was always needing to clean the screen itself and this genuine Samsung cover has screwed this new phones screen for good now. DO NOT BUY!!!
Go and buy a cheap chinese one on ebay. Far better and they don’t do the damage this one has.

These are all good options, but the case im using wasntt on the list. Its a bumper case thats custom designed and very slim. I was looking for a really thin case when I first got the note 5, but also something that would provide really great protection. I got this case on amazon its been good so far https://goo.gl/GpcTRx
