2015 Nexus 5 Camera & Battery

Two huge areas of concern, and the only weak links of the original Nexus 5, were the battery and camera. This year Google and LG have reportedly put in a lot of effort on that front, and the new Nexus 5 will deliver an excellent experience all around.

Based on a few leaks and rumors, as well as the image provided in our second slide, the new 2015 Nexus 5 will finally get things right. Google will be adding a huge 3,180 mAh battery (reportedly) to the Nexus 5, and it will support wireless and fast charging technology, not to mention USB Type-C with reversible and universal cables.

Then of course the camera, which was awful on the Nexus 5 in 2013, will finally be better this year. Rumor has it users will get nearly the same 16 megapixel F/1.8 aperture camera as the LG G4, which is award-winning, only it will be 13 megapixels. We'll still get the same fast aperture, laser auto-focus, and optical image stabilization. Even last year the Nexus 6 had a pretty mediocre camera, but that's set to change in 2015.
