Stronger iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus Design

The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will use a new stronger aluminum according to leaks and to parts that already prove stronger than the iPhone 6.

When the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus release arrived in 2014 some users found it easy to bend the iPhone with a little force. This led to complaints and replacements as well as some users walking into Apple stores to purposefully bend the iPhone.

Parts from Sonny Dickson, who successfully arranged for iPhone 6 parts ahead of the announcement last year, show a much stronger iPhone 6s back made from a new 7000 series aluminum. The stronger aluminum is more often used in aerospace applications, but it is also in the Apple Watch and competing phones.

Samsung uses 7000 series aluminum on the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 for, "a sturdier build.", which is one of the reasons we expect Apple plans to use this on the iPhone 6s design.

In the video above we see an analysis of an alleged iPhone 6s back that shows a different chemical makeup from the iPhone 6 back and with a machine we can see that it takes significantly more pressure to bend just the back of the iPhone 6s. This will likely increase more when the iPhone 6s design includes the rest of the phone.
