iPhone 6s Plus vs Moto X: Price

iPhone 6s Plus vs Moto X: Price

The biggest difference between these two phones though, aside from one running Android and the other having iOS, is the price. This will also be a HUGE factor for those on a budget.

The iPhone 6s Plus isn't cheap, but everyone knows that. Motorola on the other hand, is offering one of the cheapest premium 5.7-inch phones ever. You can almost buy two Moto X phones for the price of an unlocked iPhone 6s Plus.

iPhone 6s Plus 16GB - $749 (64GB is $849

Moto X 2015 16GB - $399 (64GB is $499)

Owners can get two of the 16GB Moto X for $50 more than one iPhone 6s Plus. It also has a micro-SD slot, so there's no need to pay more for the 64GB MotoX. Just get a 128GB micro-SD card for cheap, and you're all set.

Of course pricing will vary by what users want, which finishes they choose, how much storage they need, and payment plans. Carriers are offering payment plans from $25-$22 a month for the iPhone 6s Plus, while the Moto X is being sold directly from Motorola, with no carriers involved whatsoever.

This means many can get an iPhone for $27-30 a month, while anyone looking to snag the Moto X will have to pay at least $399 outright, as it won't be available on contract or payment plans.

Either way you look at it the Moto X is way, way cheaper, but it all comes down to what a user wants, needs, and can afford. Most likely the decision in the end is about Android vs iOS, but if you've never tried Android, a Moto X Pure Edition would be a good option to try without breaking the bank.

Good article. However Motorola (at least in the US) has a payment plan for their phones, no interest.

Motorola has financing. $25 a month through Comenity bank. Apple has a Lease option through Citizen Bank and financing options through Barclays and Paypal credit.
