iPhone 6s Plus vs LG G4: Design

If there is one area the iPhone 6s Plus will absolutely destroy the LG G4, and get users to buy it, it's the design. It's no secret Apple has some of the best hardware in the business. The company releases amazing hardware that's built to impress, and made out of glass and aluminum. The iPhone 6s Plus has a new, more durable, 7000 series aluminum as well that won't bend like previous models.

We all know what to expect from the design and quality of iPhone's, and it's nothing short of being one of the best on the market.

LG on the other hand, has a pretty decent plastic, ceramic, and leather LG G4. The build quality can't match Apple, but it comes close. The phone is made of plastic, but the back can be removed and replaced with hand-made genuine leather backs coming in six colors and three different textures. It also has all the buttons on the back, while makes it unique yet very easy to use. Those buttons being on back allows for thin bezels on the sides too, which is what helps make the LG G4 smaller than the iPhone, even though it has the same size display.

Another thing to consider is the LG G4 has a micro-SD slot for expanding storage, rather than paying the outrageous $100 price increase to go from 16 to 64GB on the iPhone.

The iPhone 6s Plus is the clear winner in terms of design, but the LG G4 is pretty impressive, rather unique, and feels good in the hand as well. It's LG's best yet, but still not quite good enough for us to fully recommend.

Excellent article! Having a rough time choosing an upgrade from my GS4, My spouse is waiting out the Iphone 6s and I’m tempted to do the same but having a removable battery and expandable storage does make the LG G4 a lot more future proof!
