2015 Nexus 5 Release: Everything Buyers Need to Know
Nexus 5X Specs | ||||||
We know nearly everything about Google's new 2015 Nexus 5X already, but a few details remain a mystery. That said, the latest photos and all the information reported by AndroidPolice today somewhat confirm all prior leaks. Not to mention this morning Amazon put up a pre-order page and confirmed some specs, but quickly removed the page. Here's what we're hearing will complete the 2015 Nexus 5X. Nexus 5 2015 Specs (Rumored)
The camera will reportedly be the best of any Nexus device, and very similar to the sensor inside of the impressive LG G4. Early reports suggested a bigger battery, but 2,700 mAh is still bigger than what is inside of the Galaxy S6 (2,550) which means that while it's smaller than many expected or had hoped for, it should still provide some of the best battery life of any Nexus device. Not to mention the more efficient 6-core chip, and the improve Android 6.0 Marshmallow with loads of battery-saving optimizations. The only downside we see to the new Nexus 5X appears to be the 16GB of internal storage. These days the minimum should be 32GB, but that doesn't appear to be the case this year with the Nexus 5X. The simple design is likely to draw developers into making use of the fingerprint scanner on back that's below the camera, which can unlock the device and use Android Pay, not to mention sign into websites, apps, and more. Again, these are developer devices first, not consumer devices, so Google's main focus is the latest and greatest technology, not creating beautiful devices to compete with Samsung and Apple. At the same time, the general word on the street is these are some of the ugliest Nexus phones to date. Thoughts? | ||||||
