2015 Nexus 6 Release: Everything We Know Right Now

This year Google is using LG for the smaller Nexus 5, LG's third Nexus smartphone, but that isn't the only phone. For the first time ever, Huawei will be making the Nexus 6P, a Chinese manufacturer. The Huawei Nexus 6 will be an impressive all aluminum device, but still be wallet friendly, rather than have a huge price tag like the Nexus 6 from 2014.

We don't have all the details yet, but almost everything mentioned below has been rumored in the past, and confirmed this week by AndroidPolice.

The Nexus 6 sounds pretty impressive, and will be the "high-end" Nexus this year. We are hearing there will be an all aluminum model for a price premium, then three others with a soft matte plastic design similar to past Nexus phones, but more on that in a minute.

One thing we don't know for sure is the size of the battery, or what all is inside the hump on back. It won't be flat, and there's a small lip on the back top that houses the big new camera, dual LED flash, a laser auto-focus, and possible something else, but we'll have to wait until September 29th to find out.
