Apple did not confirm a OS X El Capitan release time, but based on past releases, we have a good idea when you can start the OS X El Capitan download on your Mac. We typically see new software updates from Apple arrive at 1PM Eastern, 10 AM Pacific. Although there is a chance that Apple will deviate from this, we do expect the OS X El Capitan release time is 10 AM Pacific, 1 PM Eastern on September 30th. | ||||||

Can I update to El Capitan? Have 2009 iMac…just upgrade to 8 rams of memory.
