If you allow the Camera app to use your location, it means that iOS is automatically tagging your photos with your precise location, which could be bad if you want to protect your location. Say that you send more photos to a prospective buyer on Craigslist for something you're selling. The photos you text him could have your location attached, which is probably harmless, but you never what people are capable of. To turn off geo-tagged photos, go into Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Camera and then select Never. | |||||||||||
