5 Quick Chargers for the Moto X Pure Edition

Aukey Quick 2.0 Charger

Lately I've been using more and more products from Aukey, including their portable battery packs for charging on the go, which also support fast charging. Aukey has a Qualcomm-certified Quick Charge 2.0 charger on Amazon, and these work just like Motorola's fast chargers, but could be a hair slower than the official TurboPower charger. It's currently on sale for only $15.00 making it one of the cheapest options. Essentially any "Quick Charge 2.0" charger will work, but these are a few of the better options that aren't overpriced.

If it's a regular charger, you won't see the "Turbo Charging" notification appear on the bottom of the screen when plugged in, and instead it will only show that the device is charging, and you'll notice it takes much longer for the Moto X to fully charge.

The statement that “Essentially any “Quick Charge 2.0″ charger will work” is false. There are some battery packs that will not work at all with the Moto X 2015 Pure edition, specifically one from Aukey, and now I’ve seen similar disclaimers from Anker. Their AC connected chargers do seem to work however. Still, before purchasing any 3rd party quick charge “compatible” device, you should verify with the manufacturer that it will in fact be supported. I’ve been burned by this. (figuratively)
