Don't expect Fallout 4 midnight release dates everywhere.

Best Buy says that it will be opening select stores to accomodate Fallout 4 buyers and it's up to shoppers to figure out if their local store is open. We expect GameStop to do something similar if it does offer a midnight release to Fallout 4 buyers. 

So, be sure you check in with your local store ahead of time to make sure they'll be staying open late. The last thing you want to do is waste your time.

Note: While Walmart might not promote a Fallout 4 midnight release, there's a good chance your local store will be open at midnight to give you your copy of the game. Just be sure to call or ask ahead of time.
