Fallout 4 Release Date: 11 Things to Know With a Week to Go

We continue to get questions about the Fallout 4 release time so we want to make sure that it's very clear to those of you planning to play the second the game becomes available. 

First, you'll only be able to pre-load the digital version of the game. You can't pre-load the physical version of Fallout 4 or Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition so you'll need to bank on the midnight release if you want to play on November 9th/10th. 

You'll be able to pre-load all three digital versions of the game ahead of the release date. Bethesda and its partners will make the three versions of the game (Xbox One, PC, PS4) available at 12:01AM ET, or, just after midnight. 

This is why we keep saying November 9th/November 10th. Those of you who live in other U.S. time zones will be able to start playing on November 9th. For instance, those of you in California will be able to start playing around 9PM PT as long as there aren't any problems.
