Springtomize iOS 9 Release Arrives for iOS 9 Jailbreak

Published

It’s been about a month since the iOS 9 jailbreak first released, and we’re finally now seeing a Springtomize iOS 9 release for those running jailbroken iPhones.

Springtomize has been one of the most popular jailbreak tweaks for several years now, and it’s mostly because it essentially rolls a ton of different tweaks into one massive jailbreak app that can be used to customize and change around iOS.

When the iOS 9 jailbreak released last month, many popular jailbreak tweaks were updated for the newer version of iOS fairly quickly, but one tweak that remained silent was Springtomize. There was no doubt that the developers of the tweak were working on updating it, but many jailbreakers have been curious as to when an iOS 9 version would release.

Much to everyone’s hope, Springtomize 3 has been officially updated for iOS 9 and is available to purchase and download from Cydia.

The good news for those that have owned Springtomize 3 previously is that you won’t need to buy it again, as it will be a free update for those users. However, if you’ve never downloaded Springtomize 3 before, it’ll cost you a few dollars to get through the door.

It’s money well spent, though, as the tweak lets you do pretty much anything imaginable. You can use Springtomize to speed up animations, put five apps in the dock, hide certain app icons, change colors of various user interface elements, and much more. You can even change the animation for when you press the sleep button to shut the screen off, as well as hide certain features in Control Center to make it more simple.

If you’re interested in jailbreaking your iPhone, you can do so pretty easily using TaiG’s jailbreak tool. We have a thorough how-to guide that takes you through the process of jailbreaking your iPhone or iPad if you’re interested in doing it.

One thing to keep in mind, though, is that only iOS 9.0 is able to be jailbroken right now, so if you’re running iOS 9.1, you unfortunately can’t jailbreak. You’ll have to wait for an iOS 9.1 jailbreak to release first, which hopefully isn’t too far off, but who knows that this point.

However, if you’re still on iOS 9.0, then there’s no time like the present to jailbreak your iPhone or iPad so that you can customize iOS and do all sorts of cool stuff with your device. There are many great reasons to jailbreak, including customizing iOS, installing apps that Apple wouldn’t normally allow, and having the ability to get rid of some iOS annoyances that you might have.

Of course, there are also a handful of reasons why you may not want to jailbreak, especially if you’re a novice iOS user. Jailbreaking can cause crashes and other problems at times, which usually aren’t too big of a deal if you know how to fix them, but if you’re not good at troubleshooting, jailbreaking may not be for you.

However, if you feel comfortable jailbreaking, then Springtomize should be one of the first tweaks that you install on your iPhone or iPad. We also cover some more iOS 9 Cydia tweaks that you should consider checking out.

Of course, now we’re just waiting on an Apple Watch jailbreak, which could happen sooner or later. We’re already looking forward to some jailbreak features that we might see.
