Is Star Wars Battlefront Deluxe Edition Worth Buying?

I decided to buy the $70 Star Wars Battlefront Deluxe Edition. The bundle comes with instant access to the DL-44 blaster pistol (Han Solo's gun), the Ion Grenade and the Ion Torpedo. It also comes with two exclusive emotes, Victory and Ion Shock.

I've never emoted in the game so Victory and Ion Shock have both been useless. And while early access to the weapons has been nice, I ranked up quick and I was able to reach their unlock levels pretty quickly...defeating the purpose of paying $10 for early access.

The Blaster is great but the recent patch seems to have nerfed it and I don't really utilize either of the Ion weapons. The saving grace is that I now have early access to the Battle of Jakku but my guess is that I'll probably get burned out on it by the time my other friends get access to it later this month. (They didn't pre-order.)

You can probably see where I am going with this. If you're sleeping on wads of money, by all means spend the extra cash. If you aren't, save your money and get the regular version of the game. You'll be fine with the regular starter weapons and you'll gain access to the free Battle of Jakku DLC in a few days.
