Google’s Santa Tracker App Arrives for 2015

It’s that time of year again. With December comes cold winter days, warm drinks, snowfall, and tons of elves building and wrapping presents for Santa. As they do each year, Google has just launched its Santa Tracker app and a brand new Santa’s Village website with daily games and apps to follow Santa until Christmas.

Children and parents alike can follow Santa and his elves through their entire journey this holiday season using the official Google Santa Tracker app, or check into the village every day for new games, charities for donations and much more to get into the holiday spirit.

For years NORAD has offered a Santa tracker, and over the past few years big companies like Google and Microsoft have been doing the same. The Santa Tracker app for 2015 was just updated by Google, and below is everything parents and their kids need to know.

Starting today, December 2nd, and daily until Christmas there will be new games each and every day, all of which will help Santa prepare for his journey around the world delivering presents to boys and girls everywhere.

Google has a brand new “Santa’s Village” that users can go to online, with the Santa Tracker app, on Android TV, Android Wear smartwatches, and even the Google Chromecast. In 2015 Google is giving us as many ways as possible to track Santa, keep up with the holiday spirit, and participate in fun games all the way until Christmas.

Google states that each day a brand new game, option, or experience will be available until December 24th, which is Christmas eve. There will be mini computer games, kids can learn simple coding tricks, get details about charities worth donating to during the holiday season and more. Rudolph and the other reindeer will be available for kids to check the weather conditions before Santa begins his journey, kids can virtually travel to the North Pole, and there’s even a link to a wide selection of Android apps just in time for Christmas and the holiday spirit.

December 1-2nd are currently open and available to click on, enjoy, and play some mini games. Then each and every single day for the rest of the month something new will be available. Every morning Google will add the next day to the calendar. Users can follow for the entire month of building toys and having fun with elves, then on December 24th the Santa Tracker app will officially turn on.

On December 24th users will be able to follow Santa with the app and Google Maps as he makes the long-haul and journey around the globe to all the boys and girls, parents, and others that aren’t on the naughty list.

As we said above, Google made it available on as many platforms as possible. There are activities for Android Wear smartwatches, Android TV, smartphones and tablets, and even a way to share the Santa Tracker app to your HDTV using a Google Chromecast and more. Any way you want to follow Santa, you can. So download the app today and enjoy the festivities, then kids can follow Santa and his reindeer on December 24th.
