Notes & Letters

The other day I went into a raider hideout looking for loot and crafting materials. At the end of the maze, I encountered a raider leader. Once I dispatched her and her bodyguards, I started looking for my rewards.

On the table, I noticed some letters strewn about. They weren't easy to spot and it would be extremely easy to overlook them. My guess is that many people have.

The letters didn't give me any XP or a weapon but they instead filled in some of the blanks pertaining to the character's story. And later, after I took out another raider, the letters helped me put the entire situation together. If I hadn't read them, I might've been lost.

There are letters and notes scattered around the Commonwealth and they sometimes blend in. So if you see something that looks like a letter, pick it up and read it. You'll get some more background about the characters populating the world around you, even minor ones.
