5 iOS 9.2 Jailbreak Features We Want to See

The iOS 9.2 jailbreak could release any day now, but in the meantime, here are five iOS 9.2 jailbreak features that we want to see.

It’s been rumored and expected that the iOS 9.2 jailbreak will release after Apple releases iOS 9.2.1 to the public. However, we’re not sure when iOS 9.2.1 will release. The good news is that it should be any day now.

UPDATE: Apple has officially released iOS 9.2.1. A jailbreak release is still unknown.

An iOS 9 jailbreak initially released back in October about a month after iOS 9 released. However, the jailbreak was quickly patched up by Apple about a week later when the company released iOS 9.1. Since then, we have yet to see a new iOS 9 jailbreak.

Both iOS 9.1 and iOS 9.2 have released since we last saw a jailbreak, so it’s certainly time for a new jailbreak to release, and we’re almost positive that either TaiG or Pangu is working on a new jailbreak as we speak, or they may already have one in the chamber ready to release.

An iOS 9.2 jailbreak would undoubtedly make many iPhone users happy, allowing them to update to iOS 9.2 and enjoy the new features and bug fixes in the latest update. What would make it even better, though, are these five features that we’d love to see in the iOS 9.2 jailbreak.

Cydia Impactor Update

Cydia Impactor Update

Cydia Impactor sort of works with iOS 9. It's currently in beta and has been for a while, so you could say that there's a working version for Cydia Impactor for iOS 9 devices, but not really.

Many jailbreakers have complained that while there is an iOS 9 version of Cydia Impactor, the beta version just isn't consistent, and many users have come across issues with the tool.

What would great is if a final version released shortly after the iOS 9.2 jailbreak, as the tool would allow users to restore their iPhones without being forced to update to the latest version of iOS, and when iOS 9.3 releases, that will be critical.
