If you just picked up Fallout 4 for PS4, Xbox One or PC or if you’re new to the Fallout series and or open-world RPGs in general, take a look at these Fallout 4 tips for beginners. We think they’re going to help you get started on the right foot.

In November, after years of anticipation, Bethesda finally released Fallout 4. The follow-up to Fallout 3 is available on PS4, Xbox One and PC. It hasn’t made its way to the Xbox 360 or PS3 and probably never will.

Fallout fans and RPG fanatics knew what they were getting into when they bought Fallout 4. Bethesda’s new title is a massive open-world role-playing game that puts you into the shoes of the Sole Survivor and takes you into post apocalyptic Boston and the surrounding areas.

Fallout 4 is a massive game with hundreds of hours of gameplay. And for some people (myself included), this is intimidating.

You might start to question whether you’re utilizing your time properly. Or maybe you start stressing about potential Fallout 4 problems. That’s perfectly normal with a game like this and we want to help make things a little bit easier on your noggin.

I’ve played every single Fallout (and Elder Scrolls) game and I’ve now spent a number of months with Fallout 4. Today, I want to help those of you that might need some extra guidance with the start of the game.
