We could go on and on about fast charging, potential wireless charging, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, the cameras and everything else that makes the LG G5 sound great, but it's the "magic slot" that leaked again today users are excited about.

Apparently the LG G5 bottom will snap and slide-out, which will reveal the replaceable battery, not to mention allow users to add 3rd party accessories. Above is a blurry leaked photo showing just one of many potential options this will give owners.

We're hearing what we see above is basically an attachment that turns the LG G5 into a full-out point-and-shoot camera. It adds 1,100 mAh of battery to the phone so it lasts longer, has a pop-out flash, zoom wheel for advanced controls and a dedicated zoom and shutter button. It looks odd, but could be amazing for those who take a lot of photos, not to mention improve battery life.

This magic slot will accept modular accessories like an LG 360 VR camera, health and fitness options, different battery add-ons to extend the life of the phone, other camera things, and even an amplifier to turn the G5 into a powerful media device for music playback. The options could be endless, as long as LG makes it easy, seamless, and affordable.

At the end of the day the LG G5 will be similar to last years G4 but with an improved premium design, better camera, faster performance, better battery life, more options and accessories, and reportedly come in 2-3 different colors, if not more. It's shaping up to be a good phone, even if some of the leaked photos don't do it justice.
