The LG G5 launch event is today February 21st, and excited fans will be happy to know LG will have a live stream. Potential buyers will be able to watch the phone be shown off and unveiled live on stage using most smartphones, tablets or computers, and here’s how.

LG will get on stage Sunday night in Barcelona, Spain, ahead of Mobile World Congress to announce the all-new metal LG G5. That’s 5AM in the United States (Pacific Time) and 8:00 AM ET.

This year LG wants to take Samsung head on, rather than release the phone a few months later than its competition. As a result they’re announcing the LG G5 hours before the Galaxy S7, and reportedly will release it sometime in mid to late March. Read on for more details, and how to watch the live stream.

Update: The LG G5 is official. Here is everything you need to know. From hands-on videos, accessories, specs, release details and more.

The LG G5 launch live stream is available on the LG Korea YouTube so you can watch on almost any device that connects to the Internet. It will likely also be streaming on the LG Mobile US channel as well, and we’ll update with direct video feeds when the time comes.

Earlier this month after countless leaks and rumors LG confirmed February 21st was the day, and even started calling it LG G5 day, essentially confirming exactly what is coming. They’ve been teasing photos on Twitter and Facebook, suggesting those dual rear cameras will be one of many highlights of the announcement. Are we ready for LG G5 Day?

LG’s G5 announcement is about to begin today at 8AM Eastern (5AM Pacific). Which is 2PM local time in Barcelona. Below is the link to the LG Korea YouTube channel, which will live stream the entire event.

So far we’re hearing the LG G5 will have an all metal design, a fingerprint scanner, a smaller 5.3-inch display, and some fancy unique design changes to keep all users favorite features. There’s a “Magic Slot” or removable bottom that gives access to a removable and replaceable battery, which will allow for additional accessories we can expect to see live on stage, and much more. The G5 will have a micro-SD slot to expand storage, USB Type-C, and more.

Leaks and rumors have suggested a late March release date, which is over two months earlier than last year. As the live stream unfolds today we’ll update with additional details, pre-order information, pricing, accessories, release dates and more if available.

5 Exciting LG G5 Specs & Features

Again this year it looks like LG will be going with the tried and true 5.5-inch 2560 x 1440 Quad-HD display.  Although we are hearing it could be 5.3-inches instead. Their past phones have offered amazing screens, and this year it should be somewhat improved, and have some neat new features.

Rumors suggested a 5.3-inch screen and a secondary "ticker" display above the main screen like the LG V10, but LG shot that rumor down. Instead the company confirmed its phone will sport a new "always on display" mode. A low power state that displays the time, date, notifications and more. This will barely touch battery life, and should turn off when in a users pocket. We've seen this from Motorola and others, and LG will likely have a few unique aspects of it done their own way.

The screen will be big and bright, have some quick notifications to easily access, and once again compete with Samsung and others in this size category. We aren't expecting anything else too crazy, like a curved screen or anything, but we'll have to wait and see. Either way the G5 will be a perfect size. Not as small as the Galaxy S7, but smaller than the huge Note 5 for those that want a perfect middle ground. That said, the Galaxy S7 Edge is reportedly using the same 5.5-inch size. Tough choice, right?

Thanks for sharing this tip. I am not really a good fan of LG launches but since I can just watch this at home, then I guess this is a great way to learn about it. Perhaps it has some great features out of the box that must be looked forward to.
