Spells in Clash Royale are rarely used, but if done right they can be deadly. Dropping a Giant Skeleton, Balloon, and a Rage spell can take out towers in an instant, and get a 3-crown victory with ease. However, you'll need to time it right. The Rage spell will increase speed and attack damage by 40% (instead of only 35%) but won't last as long. Typically the Rage outlasts the troops anyways, so now it's more effective and won't last as long and be more effective overall. The Poison spell will be increased by 5% in an effort to make it more damaging to big troops, Witches and other troops. No one uses it, and would prefer Arrows or the Fireball, but give the Poison spell a try next time a wave of troops are coming at you. | |||||||||||

I think decreasing the X-bow range to 12 from 13 is not to shut it down. It can still attack the opponents tower from your side, but you have to put it right on the edge with no room for Tesla in front. They are just making it more open to counter play which is nice because it is really hard to kill an X-bow with a Tesla Tower in front of it.
