Microsoft hasn’t managed to find a balance with the Start experience just yet. Windows 8’s Start focused too much on touch. Windows 10’s Start focused too much on mouse. It’s trying again with the Windows 10 Anniversary Update. Touch users get the full-screen app list that they missed from Windows 10. Mouse users get an app list that they don’t have to click a button to dig through.
