Don't Wait if You Want LTE

The Apple Watch 2 will not feature LTE connectivity according to the latest reports. If you absolutely want an Apple Watch that you can use as a standalone device to make calls, get text messages, find directions and more -- you don't want to wait for the Apple Watch 2.

Kuo states the that Apple Watch 2 will not get LTE inside the watch. This feature may come to the Apple Watch 3 in 2017, but that is an entirely different amount of waiting.

If it is important you should consider looking at Samsung's smartwatches that support cellular connectivity on your wrist, but you won't get the same apps as you do on the Apple Watch.

Ultimately, you can wait for Apple Watch LTE support, but you will be waiting longer than most consumers are willing to hold off for -- and you won't be waiting for the Apple Watch 2.
