4 Reasons to Install Android 7.1.1 Nougat & 2 Reasons Not To

If you aren't up to the task of dealing with potential problems, having issues, or trouble-shooting, don't install the Android 7.1.1 Nougat update. We're already seeing reports here and there about problems, even after 2-3 months of beta tests. While few are far in between, this is new software and problems may arise. We're hearing a lot about Bluetooth issues, which are minor but frustrating. Apps crashing or not working with app shortcuts, bootloops while trying to update, and even Pixel problems. Again, none of these are major or "show-stoppers) but it is something average users need to consider. Some of the smaller problems are easy to fix, and were present in Android 7.0 as well. If so, try heading here for information on problems and how to fix them. And hey, we're hearing Android 7.1.2 could be coming sometime in early 2017, but that's doubtful. Google is working at a faster pace lately, but Android 7.1.1 Nougat is pretty great right now. I'm not facing any problems myself.
