10 Best Android Music Player Apps for 2019

Shuttle

Like BlackPlayer, Shuttle is another app that many have probably never heard of, but very well could enjoy all it has to offer. This app delivers features like an equalizer, gapless playback, album and artist downloads, Last.FM scrobbling, and a sleek interface that reminds me a bit of the Google Play Music app. With each update in 2018, it got even better, too.

It's almost as powerful as PowerAmp but looks like a stock app that could have been bundled with the phone. All of that is free too. However, for just $0.99 you'll get more customization, advanced features, tag editing and Chromecast support to round it out as your go-to music player app on Android.

Jukebox Music Player. Been using for a couple weeks. Does exactly what I need. Has themes and gets lyrics from the web. I think it’s fairly new but it has a new update with new stuff in it every other day it seems.

Power amp needs to be removed from the top. It just keeps crashing. Except for sound quality the app is not stable. Pulsar, Jet audio, Rocket player, Joymix are missing. After updates, players are sometimes worse off.

Don’t install Poweramp if you’re running Android 8.1. some of the features will not work, and the developer is not fixing them until his new version is finished.

I very much like PlayerPro music player. It’s been around for quite some time, has regular updates by the dev team, which enables it to keep up with the latest Android features: Chromecast, android AUTO, Oreo notificatoins etc. The other players clearly don’t have that many features and are quite out dated.

Yeah! An article with the stuff in it! Cool. Can’t believe you didn’t list a sound processing music or singing app.
