The Move to iOS app is free and the transfer is over WiFi. This process can take a while, so if you have a lot of photos or messages you should plan on 30 or more minutes.

You must be setting up a new iPhone or you will need to reset the iPhone to get the option to Move from Android to iPhone as part of the restore process.

When you switch from Android to iPhone you will need to manually find and download your apps. Keep in mind you can still play some of your content from Google Play with Google Play Music and Google Play Movies for iPhone.

You will soon see a summary of what will transfer from Android to iPhone. Do not exit the app or move the phones far apart until this completes.

When the transfer is complete the iPhone will need to finish some housecleaning activities and then you will need to complete the iPhone setup, including if you should merge iCloud data with what is already on the iPhone.

After you complete the iPhone setup, you will soon see a pop up asking you to enter the Google account passwords in iPhone settings. Tap on the Settings option to go right to the page to enter your password. Even though the app transfers your Google account, it does not transfer the password.

After you complete this you are now ready to use the iPhone. Check out the exciting new iOS 10 features below to get familiar with your iPhone.
