The Surface Pen isn't just a great digital writing instrument, it's also a great way to launch apps and programs that you use frequently. The button at the top of the pen lets you dive into apps and programs without opening the Start Screen or powering on your Surface Pro 4.
Holding the eraser cap down opens Cortana and gets her ready for your voice command. To be clear, you can also open the personal assistant using the "Hey, Cortana" command that is available on Windows 10 PCs besides the Surface Pro 4. Pressing the button twice lets you save a screenshot of what's on your screen and write on it. Surface Pen shortcuts are available within the Windows 10 Settings app. |
