Better iPhone 8 Camera

Every year there are iPhone camera upgrades, but the smaller iPhone consistently lags a year behind the iPhone Plus.

We want to see the dual camera system in the iPhone 7 Plus come to the iPhone 8 with the option to zoom and with the cool portrait mode that blurs the background behind a subject. Apple boosted the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus low light capabilities, and there is a very good chance that we will see continued work in that area.

We may also see a front-facing camera built into the display, with better sensing for facial scanning and that could play a role in augmented reality.

We simply want the dual camera features from the iPhone 7 Plus to make their way to the iPhone 8. According to Macotakara, the iPhone 8 might use a vertical version of the dual camera that we see on the iPhone 7 Plus. There is also a good chance the iPhone 8 will feature a better rear facing camera that helps with AR related activities.
