Turn Off the Notification LED

Turn Off the Notification LED

Yes, that blinking blue light on your phone is very helpful, but also frustrating at the same time. It blinks when we have missed calls, notifications, emails and other things. I love it, but it's irritating at night and some prefer to disable it completely. So lets do that.

Users can start by heading into settings by selecting the gear-shaped settings button in the notification pulldown bar, or navigation to the settings app in the application tray. Once you’re in setting head select the top column labeled “Device” then “Display” and scroll down and uncheck "LED indicator". It's that easy.

This same area is where owners can turn off touch sounds, the back and recent app button LED lights, and of course control the brightness. It also has one more setting, which we'll talk about in our next slide.

Can I also add my spouse to the fingerprint scan? So we’re both able to use the device?

Google Now gets it wrong so often that it is useless. When did you ever hear anyone use it? Never.

I normally do not leave comments, but thank you for this helpful list! It informed me on things I didn’t know my phone could do, such as the SOS feature.
