Use Cortana Anytime

Cortana picked up new commands recently. There are new options for setting timers and controlling music playback with Groove. Neither of these sets of commands would be that great if it wasn’t for Microsoft adding the option for Cortana to take commands without you being logged in.

In Cortana’s settings, you can tell your PC that you want to let it take commands when locked. Additionally, you can have Cortana keep the PC awake in case you have a command that you want to use.
