Your kid wants a drone for Christmas. The Sharper Image Drone DX-3 looks like a great deal at just $30. At first glance it's even an impulse buy and you do recognize the brand. Hold on though. The reviews of the drone indicate reliability issues and specifically mention rough landings and control issues. Dr. Wade's Reviews overview and commenters mention control issues, lost drones, and broken drones on a similar Sharper Image Drone. After five days he writes,"This sharper image drone quit working 3 days after I recovered it. I flew it several times inside and out, but the video camera and still camera quit working – no footage. Then one of the motors quit working and started making a whirring sound. I tried making adjustments, but at this time it is down." If you buy this as a replacement for a cheap RC car and are OK with it breaking or being lost fairly quickly, $30 isn't bad. If you are looking for a drone they can learn on and have fun with, you should look at slightly more expensive models. | ||||||

I think you’ve got this all wrong and so does your “expert”. This is a 10 inch tablet. Kin to an Android tablet or an iPad but at the sub-$200 range. Just because it runs full blown Windows 10 you shouldn’t expect it to keep up with a real laptop. I have the older version of this tablet and it for the $100 I paid for it is great. I can run several Chrome tabs at once and open office. For the money this is WAY more functional than an iPad or Android tablet.
