Try the iOS 10.3.3 Beta If You're Having iOS Problems

Try the iOS 10.3.3 Beta If You're Having iOS Problems

If you're experiencing iOS 10 problems on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch you might think about trying the iOS 10.3.3 beta. It could improve your device's performance.

iPhone and iPad owners continue to complain about various iOS 9 and iOS 10 problems including abnormal battery life, broken Wi-Fi, busted Bluetooth, UI lag, crashes, lockups, freezes, and various issues with apps.

The iOS 10.3.3 update appears to be a maintenance release which means it should deliver some under-the-hood improvements to iOS 10 users.

The iOS 10.3.3 beta doesn't offer a long list of changes but there's a chance it could improve your device's speed, its battery life, its connectivity, or another area of performance.

Remember, you can always drop back down to the iOS 10.3.2 update if the iOS 10.3.3 beta fails to fix whatever it is that you're dealing with.

As soon as I read about ios 10 Am like oh crap its Windows 10 for me iphone! this is gonna suck! and the more I read it isn’t going to just suck its going to be worse than ios 8.

Stop with the auto creation crap! I don’t want you doing anything automatically I will do it. Stop with the its makes finding photos easier no it really doesn’t it just takes your photos and creates a mess you the user will have to clean up.

Apple and Microsoft are pushing horrible spy/mal/bloat/crapware operating systems.

Using the phone as normal, battery life is 1/3 of what I have been used to with IOS 9. I have tired resets countless times to no avail.

I am very disappointed that Apple would release IOS for devices that would render them almost useless. I am thinking about switching brands after being a loyal customer for 6 years.

I am trying to have a holiday in Portugal but it’s being hampered by a phone that cannot last a day. Apple DO NOT force people to upgrade by destroying the performance on older devices, I am very upset as I love the Iphone, but now I feel like I need something that works for people when they need it. I can no longer rely on my iPhone in its current state.

My iPhone 5 is nearly unusable. Battery life is garbage and last night it shut down while I wasn’t even using it. Wouldn’t restart until I plugged it in. My battery was replaced last year at Apple store. iTunes won’t update my apps (yes, everything is set up correctly) I wasn’t going to update to iOS10 but I accidentally hit update on the 1 millionth pop-up that asked me to do it. I’m super pissed.

My iPhone just lost 5% of its battery life just by reading this article and five comments. Just lost another 5% typing this comments. 10% battery life lost EXTREMELY fast. This is BS! Oh and it now went UP 1%??? It’s not even plugged in!!! WTF!

Updated to 10.0.2 big troubles for
Battery drains in 7-8 hours even don’t use the phone
Safari camera photos all in horizontal screen rotation
On every typing there is ‘cancel and undo’ pop up
Even hard reset, reinstall 10.0.2 through iTunes no benefit
First time thinking to change from ios to android

400 reasons not to buy an iphone at all.
Apple must have a new company in the name : ‘apple fix’. It alwas things to fix and fix and fix endless fixing. 100 updates a day and still the most crappie device on the market.
Fix this and fix that and the end not even over the horizon.

I just purchased a Movado smart watch which connects to the iPhone 6 via Bluetooth. The OS is so bad it connects and disconnects from the watch every few seconds and drains the watch battery in 1-2 days when it should last 7. No fix from Apple yet and now HP who makes the OS for the watch is trying to create a workaround. Totally makes my watch useless. Apple needs to get on the stick. They are starting to suck like Microsoft.

Agreed on all final comments other than the watch OS, have no experience there but Apple is tanking all it’s software like Microsoft has often done….

Tim Cook is no Steve Jobs, that is for sure. Steve Jobs didn’t just have a stream of significant new product ideas — he also paid exquisite attention to user experience and the compounding consequences of one experience on another. Tim appears totally zoned out in comparison. And gloriously zoned out. it’s like he doesn’t care or only cares for short term glitz.

Apple ios 10 appears totally aimed at the teeny-bopper mentality — at the cost of functionality for adults who have work to do. It’s full of eye candy and wizzy new “features” which actually make getting real work done considerably more difficult and time consuming. So now you can add an animated GIF to your text message … even if you don’t want to do that (and just try getting out of some of these “features”). What you can’t do nearly as easily, for example, is just copy and paste or forward a bunch of texts. You also have a much harder time simply dialing a phone number by touching it in an existing message. And you can’t turn brain dead features OFF very well in general. You can’t really opt out; certainly not easily. Tim is determined to treat all his customers like teeny boppers — maybe he is so oblivious he really thinks all his customers are teeny boppers, or that teeny boppers never grow up. So it is considerably more complex to use ios 10 for simple things vs ios 9 and it is a real resource hog. It uses a ton of extra CPU cycles and a LOT of additional memory for its footprint and NEVER used, actually unwanted “features”.

One has to wonder if Tim actually USES his own products? I mean does he use them to get real work done or does he really think sending animated GIFS is a “much have” feature which needs to sit on the top level of the interface and push out features which business users might want? I will NEVER send an animated GIF — but Tim is shoving it down my throat to choke on every time I try to send even a basic business text. And the GIF stupidity is just one piece of many. The compounding dumb complexity just goes on and on.

Maps have really been dumbed down / enfeebled so much that I actually had to switch to google maps even though I bought an Iphone largely to get away from Google in all ways. Apple appears to have outsourced maps after reportely spending billions so they wouldn’t be at Google’s mercy. But here they are again.

Anyway, Apple doesn’t care because TIM doesn’t care. It hardly seems like Apple even bothers to beta test anything any more. Steve Jobs supposedly was so connected to his user experience that he would sometimes pick up customer phone calls himself….just so he could get first hand feedback on how things were going. Tim? Well Tim is 1/10th the real leader but Tim is too “busy”…I guess sending animated GIFs around the company in text messages?

Apple is a real short even if the company stock continues to levitate for a while. It is going downhill day by day in every way — turning products into cash cows instead of really advancing and leading. And this isn’t just an iphone issue. How many years has it been since the MacBook Air had a real upgrade? It used to be a leader in terms of real function. But that was years ago. I suspect that, once again, Tim Cook is too “busy” to actually use a laptop for real work. He doesn’t seem to get that it was professionals — not teeny boppers — who made Apple. He doesn’t seem to get that user experience compounds, for good or ill.

It is really sad to see Apple committing itself to slow death. And galling to think that Tim Cook is actually doing everything to milk the company instead of building a better company.

This battery issue is really poor business practice by Apple.

I left Google phones last year for the same reason – releasing duff Android software which significantly affected battery life, not acknowledged by Google, no fix on the horizon, suggesting all sorts of settings which turned the smart phone into a brick. Then strangely, a whole new range of Android phones were launched, which may not have had the problem. Voila, Google effectively forcing their user base to upgrade to new phones. Kerching for everyone involved, except the poor customer.

Can iOS 10.3.3 beta hurt your iPhone if it contains bugs??
