Samsung’s excellent Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are more popular than ever, especially with the Galaxy Note 7 recall situation. With that in mind below is a continuously updated list of the best Galaxy S7 deals on the web. Everything from a $10 a month purchase, buy one get one free and more.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 was released on March 11th in the United States from Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, Sprint and more. Not to mention retailers like Target, Best Buy and others. If you’re looking to get the best Galaxy S7 deal or price around, or some free accessories, read on for more details.
From free microSD cards to the Gear VR and more, Samsung has been pushing the Galaxy S7 deals hard. New holiday deals are coming soon, but we’re already seeing some surface in November. In fact, we have some great choices below including the return of buy one get one free deals.
Samsung’s Galaxy S7 has a stunning metal and glass design reminiscent of last years model. It has a more powerful processor with 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and even a microSD slot for storage expansion this year. It’s one of the best phones on the market.
The 12 Dual Pixel camera sensor is extremely impressive and battery life is better than any Samsung smartphone to date. Coming in with a 3,000 mAh battery in the Galaxy S7, and 3,600 mAh in the Edge. To top things off it runs Google’s latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update. Both phones are also IP68 water resistant. Which is higher and more capable than the iPhone 7.
Update: As December comes to a close the Galaxy S7 is $10 a month at Verizon, basically more than half off. AT&T is even offering a buy one get one free until December 24th, Christmas eve. Get one today.
On August 28th Best Buy released an exclusive all-new Pink Gold Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. It can be bought for any US carrier. Those who order one will get a $150 Best Buy gift card, making the phone essentially $150 off, and select carrier models like the Sprint Pink Gold Galaxy S7 Edge is discounted by $100 too, making this a good option for buyers. Click here for more details, or order one at Best Buy right now.
A new Coral Blue color option is now available on AT&T or unlocked from Amazon. A popular color many enjoyed before they had to return the Galaxy Note 7. Many of the free TV deals have since expired, but there are still countless other ways to get a discounted Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge. One of the best options is still eBay, with some of the lowest prices we’ve seen yet.
The regular S7 is back on eBay for the impressively low price of only $419. That’s the lowest price yet on a new phone. This model won’t work on Verizon, but most other carriers are supported. Alternatively the Galaxy S7 Edge (dual-sim) for only $539 is another option. It retails for $798.
That $419 price is nearly $240 lower than carriers are asking, and previous was only found on open boxes. However, our link above is for a brand new model.
If those eBay sellers are sold out, similar pricing can be found from Best Buy as certified refurbished. In fact, Best Buy has the Galaxy S7 for multiple carriers for only $369, and the S7 Edge for $429. Those are by far the lowest prices around but keep in mind they are certified refurbished.
Another route is online retailer B&H. If you want a Galaxy S7 this site is selling it for just $549. It isn’t as cheap as some we saw on eBay but comes from someone more reputable than an eBay user. Many of the other deals below have since ended, but some may still be available.
On June 30th Samsung announced and released “Unlocked” models of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. Meaning these phones work with any and all carriers, overseas, and don’t have carrier apps and bloatware wasting space. Owners can expect faster software updates (hopefully) and better support in general. This is a big move for Samsung, and something we wish happened sooner. Get unlocked models now at Amazon, Best Buy, Samsung and more. They are priced at $669 and $769.
Buying the unlocked model at Best Buy is the best route, as they’re offering a $75 gift card for a limited time. Click here to get one today.
Batman Galaxy S7 Edge Injustice Edition
Last year Samsung released a special limited edition IronMan Galaxy S6 in a very limited run, and it was an extremely popular smartphone. In fact, most sell for over $2,000 on eBay today. For 2016 and the new Galaxy S7 Edge the company has partnered with DC Comics for something even better. The Batman Galaxy S7 Edge.
Recently Samsung officially announced the Injustice Edition Galaxy S7 Edge, and it will be available in some capacity on June 13th. That’s all we know right now. There was no mention of pricing, availability, or where it will be released. Either way, it’s one sweet looking phone and potential buyers can see more below. Rumors are now suggesting it could retail for around $1,000 which is ridiculous.
Galaxy S7 Deals
The first deal all buyers need to know about is the free Samsung Gear VR. It’s usually $99, and makes virtual reality content affordable and fun. Those who pre-order or buy the new Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge between February 23rd and March 18th will get the Samsung Gear VR and six virtual reality games absolutely free. This is a $150 value. This deal has expired, but some carriers will still offer bundles including the Gear VR.
This deal is reportedly available from Samsung, Best Buy, and all carriers in the United States. It appears that buyers will get the Galaxy S7, then have to show proof at the Samsung promotions website to claim the free Gear VR. Best Buy has their own inventory of units, while T-Mobile and carriers are sharing available free Gear VR headsets with Samsung. Supplies are limited, so file your claim at the link above as soon as possible.
Samsung sent emails confirming the free Gear VR shipped March 24th, and many who pre-ordered got it rather early. Mine was delivered on March 29th, but some users had to wait as long as July, if not longer.
Sprint Galaxy S7 Deals
Out of all four major carriers in the United States, Sprint is asking the least amount for the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. All carriers have monthly payment plans, but Sprint is charging the lowest overall price. Here is a breakdown of carrier pricing, with Sprint beating everyone else once all said and done. AT&T is cheaper per month, but Sprint has the lowest price.
- AT&T: Galaxy S7 is $23.17 per month for 30 months = $695.10
- Verizon: Galaxy S7 is $28 per month for 24 months = $672
- T-Mobile: Galaxy S7 is $27.91 per month for 24 months = $669.84
- Sprint: Galaxy S7 is $27.09 per month for 24 months = $650.16 *
- US Cellular: Galaxy S7 is $28 per month for 24 months = $672
The Galaxy S7 Edge is roughly $100 more on all carriers, and Sprint’s final price for the Galaxy S7 Edge is $750, while Verizon and AT&T are both asking over $790. That’s a $50 savings just for choosing Sprint.
However, the deals don’t end there either. Sprint is offering a buy one get one 1/2 off promotion for the Galaxy S7. Allowing users to get one (and the free Gear VR) and a second Galaxy S7 will be 50% off, costing just $375. With another line, of course. Sprint will also offer a new “Galaxy Forever” plan similar to the iPhone forever deal. Allowing users to trade it in every 12 (or so) months for the newest model. While this is nice, buyers don’t get to keep the Galaxy S7, essentially paying for nothing. That said, the monthly payments drop to $25.99 for the S7 and $30.50 for the S7 Edge with Sprint.
Verizon Galaxy S7 Deal
Verizon had a few decent deals including a free Gear VR or Gear S2 smartwatch back when the phone launched, but this week announced something major. For Father’s Day and until sometime later in June (for a limited time) Verizon is absolutely the best place to get the Galaxy S7.
Those who buy one Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge from Verizon will get a free Samsung 32-inch LED HDTV and a $100 credit off of their bill, along with a free Gear VR headset and five VR games. That bundle is worth $150 not including the free TV.
However, buy two Galaxy phones from Verizon (Galaxy S7, S7 Edge, Note 5) and activate at least one new line, and Samsung will throw in the same deal mentioned above but upgrade the HDTV to a 50-inch Samsung LED HDTV. Wow. Now that’s a deal. That isn’t all either, and the full details can be found here.
Update: This week Verizon announced a new “Verizon Annual Upgrade” program, allowing those on payment plans to upgrade to a new Samsung Galaxy every year, for free. Similar to T-Mobile Jump or Sprint’s iPhone and Galaxy Forever deals. Verizon offered something similar for the iPhone last year, but now it has been expanded to the Samsung Galaxy and likely the Note 6 later this year.
Buy a Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge and you’re automatically enrolled. Then, as early as 30 days after you get a new phone (as long as 50% is paid off) Verizon customers can upgrade to a new phone rather than switching carriers or signing another contract. Just trade in an old phone and get the newest Galaxy. Meaning buyers can trade in the Galaxy S7 for a new Galaxy S8 next year without buying it outright or paying a premium to upgrade early. Verizon is the latest of many carriers to take this route, so call and check your nearby Verizon store today.
T-Mobile Galaxy S7 Deal
Just like all carriers T-Mobile handed out a free Samsung Gear VR with pre-orders, as that’s something that comes right from Samsung. However, T-Mobile took things a step further and will give buyers a free year of Netflix with their purchase of the Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge. The same deal was offered for the Galaxy S6 last year.
We’re hearing T-Mobile is still offering the free year of Netflix, but that isn’t all buyers can get. For one, starting November 11th-13th T-Mobile is offering their popular buy one get one free deal. Get a Galaxy S7 on a payment plan and get a second free. It isn’t actually free, and they give you a credit for the monthly payment that goes towards the bill. You won’t pay a penny for it.
Alternatively, a recent software update enabled faster speeds on the T-Mobile Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. Making it the fastest 4G LTE smartphone on the planet. Only with T-Mobile.
AT&T Galaxy S7 Deal
Update: AT&T hasn’t had much in terms of deals, aside from the buy one get one free, but today they announced a pretty impressive deal that will get buyers a free 48″ Samsung HDTV.
Here’s how it works: Buy a Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge with AT&T Next, and sign up for DirecTV (can’t be a current subscriber) and AT&T is handing out a free 48″ Samsung TV. Pretty sweet right? Most likely many users won’t qualify, and below is a chart explaining who can get one for those interested.
If you’re eligible for the Samsung and AT&T free 48″ TV deal, click here for more details. This deal is no longer available.
While all carriers are giving out a free Gear VR, not all carriers are adding anything extra. While it isn’t a “deal” in the sense of the word, AT&T will be offering an all-new companion app for DirecTV customers who buy the Galaxy S7. Allowing owners to watch TV on their new Samsung Galaxy S7, or use the app to control their DirecTV right from their phone. This same new app also works with the Samsung Gear S2 smartwatch on AT&T. If you don’t have DirecTV, don’t forget to disable this once you get the new Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge, it’s in the notification pulldown bar. Just open it, head to settings, and turn it off.
All of the other deals that were available when these phones were first released have ended. For now the best options appear to be eBay or from Best Buy. We’ll add more as they’re announced.
Now that the phone has been available for a while, carriers are all fighting for more customers to get the latest Galaxy on their network. Verizon and T-Mobile have some great choices, and more deals will continue to arrive in the coming weeks and months. For now these are the deals that potential buyers need to know about. We’ll add more as they are announced.
We’d recommend buyers check with retail stores in their area or popular carriers for other potential deals before buying. Again, stay tuned right here for more and more Galaxy S7 deals as they’re announced and become available. Most carriers have great options that will end right around Christmas.
