If you're an avid use of Samsung's popular Multi-Window mode, consider downloading the Nougat update. It comes with a pretty significant overhaul.

Not everyone is going to fall in love with the changes Samsung's mode to Multi-Window (the UI is now a cross between stock Android and Samsung) but there are a few features that we think most people are going to enjoy.

One of the biggest changes is the fact that Multi-Window now operates at a platform level. This means that it works with a wide assortment of applications and not just a select few.

You can now access up to seven applications at a time and a new pop-up window function supports up to five separate windows.

Windowed apps now look a whole lot better. In Marshmallow, windowed apps would get shrunk down. In Nougat, you can now rearrange apps into windows with an aspect ratio of your choosing. The remaining space will then get filled in.
