Apple refreshes its iPhone once every year. And if you're in the market for a new iPhone right now, you're in the perfect position to wait. 

For weeks, rumors have spoke of two new iPhones that are on the way this fall. One is a 4.7-inch iPhone 6s, the other is a 5.5-inch iPhone 6s Plus. Both are expected to feature numerous upgrades including Force Touch technology, new cameras, and improved processors. 

The iPhone 6s release date should align with the iOS 9 release date which means an arrival in and around the start of fall (September 23rd).

Apple's not talking about the iPhone 6s just yet but T-Mobile is and the carrier recently narrowed the iPhone 6s release window to a few weeks in September. In other words, you probably won't have to wait long for these to arrive. 

If September seems far away, remember that Apple's current lineup of iPhones (iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, and iPhone 5s) will likely see price drops once the new models arrive. So if you're not in love with the changes that Apple's made, you can always score an older iPhone for cheaper.
