Next month, Sprint’s poised to release both the HTC One M9 and the Samsung Galaxy S6. Those that can wait for those two Sprint phones should. If you can’t wait a few weeks for the carrier’s new flagships, we’ve put together a list of the best Sprint phones available for the month of March. These are the devices you need to cross off your list before buying.

In early March, Sprint confirmed the arrival of two brand new flagship Android smartphones. One is the HTC One M9, a successor to Sprint’s HTC One M8 that was released last year. The HTC One M8 was one of 2014’s top smartphones and the HTC One M9 is poised to become one of the top Android options on Sprint when it arrives in April.

The other is the Samsung Galaxy S6, a device that comes in two forms, a regular variant and a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge curved variant. Both will be coming to the Now Network in the future, perhaps as soon as April 10th. If you can wait for those two devices to arrive, you should wait for those two devices to arrive so that you can compare them to Sprint’s current lineup.

Of course, we realize that some of you will need to buy a new phone in March and we want to help you out. While the Galaxy S6 and HTC One M9 are poised for stardom on Sprint’s growing network, there are some very capable Sprint phones on shelves right now.

We are constantly bombarded with questions about the best Sprint phones money can buy. There are a number of different devices that we could recommend, the Sprint smartphone market is full of solid choices, but we want to narrow things down a bit and take a look at what we consider to be the top five Sprint phones available.

These devices represent the devices that we’d recommend to friends and family. And while our list may differ from yours, these are the devices that Gotta Be Mobile editors have selected for recognition this month. We feel like the devices listed here deliver the best, all-around package for this month and this month alone.

With that in mind, here are the five best Sprint phones for March, 2015.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4

Samsung Galaxy Note 4

The Sprint Galaxy Note 4 will soon be joined by the Samsung Galaxy S6. If you can't wait for the Galaxy S6 in April and you're in desperate need of an Android smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is going to be a fine choice in the month of March. We actually like it more than Sprint's Galaxy S5.

The carrier's Galaxy Note 4 arrived in October and it's as good as advertised. It offers you a massive 5.7-inch Quad HD display, an improved design that combines plastic with metal, a camera with Optical Image Stabilization, and a speedy processor that's capable of providing excellent multitasking and gaming. This is a powerful phone.

It's expensive, $299.99 on-contract most places, but it's certainly worth a look if you absolutely need to buy a new smartphone before the arrival of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. It's one of the top Android devices on the market and it's going to remain one of the top Sprint phones for most of 2015.
