This year the LG G5 will have three cameras, a metal design, and a fingerprint scanner. Essentially everything a high-end premium flagship smartphone buyer would want. Leaks have confirmed the slightly raised rear fingerprint scanner, and multiple photos have shown us the dual cameras on the back.
We're hearing LG will keep the same 16 megapixel rear camera as last year with an f.1/8 aperture lens. It will take great photos and have image stabilization, laser-auto focus and more. However, there will also be a secondary 8 megapixel rear camera to help out. This will take wider photos, improve low light or HDR images, allow for editing after a photo is taken. Like choosing focus points and other neat effects. We don't know what else LG has planned, but assume the camera will be one of the top 3 in 2016. Then on front it will have an 8 megapixel wide-angle front facing camera for selfies. This is better than the Galaxy S6 or the Galaxy S7 which is 5 megapixels, and we're hearing LG's improved the software for hands-free easy auto-focus selfies. The front camera will have the same laser auto-focus as the back, which will be a welcomed edition for all those who take a lot of photos with the front camera. Add in the powerful Snapdragon 820 8-core processor, and these cameras should be extremely capable in every way.
