Install the iOS 9.2 beta if you want to help improve the final release. 

As of right now, the iOS 9.2 beta is only available to developers. Developers will want to install the update for two reasons. One, to test it with their apps. And two, to report bugs and issues to Apple so that it can squash them ahead of release. 

iOS 9.2 is a milestone update and we expect Apple to release it for those in the Beta Software Program. The program allows the general public to try iOS beta software for free and report issues back to Apple ahead of the update's release.
