EA Sports wants football fans to be the “playmaker” in this year’s Madden 16.

The usual upgrades apply with Madden 16. More presentation modes and camera angles on the Xbox One and PS4 should make this game seem more like a realistic simulation than past games. There are also built in recording tools for sharing the video clips you could already create using the PS4 and Xbox One’s built in features.

The true stars of Madden 16 are the new system upgrades. A new handoff system lets users get the ball into the hands of someone other than the quarterback faster. There’s some fake handoffs too for players who enjoy the art of deception. Roll passing, scrambling have gotten upgrades too. Every quarterback has a new artificial intelligence system working behind the scenes with the new mechanics and upgrades. Combine that AI with the upgraded catch systems and you have an entirely upgraded offensive game.

Madden 16 arrives on the Xbox One, PS4, PS3 and Xbox 360 on August 25th. Xbox 360 and PS3 users won’t get all the new features, like the upgraded on-field camera angles for recording.
