The past few Samsung releases have all had powerful and fast 8-core processors that run smooth, and play the latest and greatest games. This year though, it will be even better, as expected. Samsung chose the new and improved Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip to power the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge in the United States. Then a similar powerhouse Samsung Exynos chip will be inside models outside of the United States. This chip is faster than any previous year, the most powerful to date, yet more efficient and better on battery life. It also has some fancy charging technology, which we'll talk more about in a minute. Between the latest version of Android, a refined Samsung Touchwiz interface, and a blazing fast quad-core chip, this will be a fast and stable phone. Add in 4GB of RAM for improved multi-tasking, and it's very fast. The Galaxy S7 is currently one of the most powerful smartphones available, along with any other Snapdragon 820 phones that arrive this year. Expect big things from Samsung. | ||||||||
