iOS 8.4 Permanently Fixes Annoying iOS 8 Problems

Another thing we love about the iOS 8.4 update is that it fixes some annoying problems that were present in earlier versions of iOS 8.

Apple calls three of these major bug fixes out by name in the iOS 8.4 change log. Just in case you missed them the first time around, here's a reminder:

1. Fixes an issue where receiving a specific series of Unicode characters causes device to reboot.

2. Fixes an issue that prevented GPS accessories from providing location data.

3. Fixes an issue where deleted Apple Watch apps could re-install.

All three of these are insanely annoying issues and we're happy to report that they've permanently been squashed by iOS 8.4. We haven't been able to replicate any of them with the iOS 8.4 update.

We say this all the time but it bears repeating. iOS updates also have the potential to fix problems that aren't listed on the change log. So not only will iOS 8.4 fix these problems, it could fix some other lingering iOS 8 issues, especially if you're on iOS 8.2 or below.

iOS 8.3 delivered tons of bug fixes to the iPhone and iPad and if you didn't install it, iOS 8.4 will bring them to your device.
