AMtek T200 Tablet PC

- Warner Crocker

ItabletSlashGear is reporting on a new Tablet PC from AMtek. The T200 iTablet comes in white and we’re now seeing three Tablet PCs with white cases-Toshiba, LG, and AMtek. (Side note: interesting name as TabletKiosk has used that name previously for one of its Tablet PCs-I don’t believe it is offered anymore though.) From a look at the pictures this looks like an interesting slate. It certainly has an intriguing looking dock solution. Given that the memory maxes out at 1Gig, I would think this is an XP only Tablet PC solution and not targted towards Vista at the moment. Check out more pictures on SlashGear and the specs on the product page.

HI Warner,

Just so you know, this is a very old machine that both Dr. Neil and I have owned for several years. It was also the one I pulled apart in this Tablet PC Surgery post.

Funny how old becomes new again.

Well, isn't that interesting. Looks like it might be a rebadge.
