This is a new one for me, as I’ve never heard of the company before. The Algiz 8 Rugged Tablet PC has an 8.4” screen and is designed for harsh environments. From what I gather it comes equipped with XP Pro and not the Tablet PC OS. The site also contains a very interesting analysis on price comparisons between rugged vs. non-rugged (or consumer) pcs, claiming that the high price for rugged computers is misleading, if you don’t look down the road at the long term ownership costs of the unit.
