Buffalo to Ship 100GB Flash Drive

- Sierra Modro

image Just to be clear, that 100GB of flash, not a hard drive. Buffalo uses 2 different types of flash memory to create this portable flash drive the size of a business card and weighing a scant 60g, according to the press release. Of course, it will also set you back about $930 or so, which means you had better need the durability of SSD over a spinning drive, because those are a lot cheaper.

This is a nice size, nice weight, good capacity, with "Turbo" USB 2.0, so overall a nice solution, but... $900+? I'll buy a hard drive.
