- Warner Crocker

While Dennis and Hugo are out shopping for new belts, Rob Bushway, who has been absent from our GBM Podcasts for far too long, joins Warner Crocker for GBM Podcast #22, and we have a blast talking about a ton of topics in the Tablescape. (Note, neither Rob nor Warner was wearing a belt of any kind during this podcast.) Rob has spent some of his time away from podcasting boning up on art criticism and philosophy and spreads his wisdom as we chat about HP’s decision to replace the TC4400 with the 2710p, Chad Essley, the Tablet PC Cartoonist, Rob’s experience with the Flybook V5i, shipping delays in the Tabletscape, and cover some forum news. We also spend some time talking about the OQO Model 02. (And we only hit below the belt a few times.) Check out GBM Podcast #22 and give it a listen.

Here we go with another GBM podcast. At least here two of us go. Dennis is missing in action (for good reasons) but Hugo and Warner carry on gallantly in Hey dude, what happened to my battery? Show. Yep, we spend a lot of time talking about Battery life and how to best optimize its effectiveness; and we also cover off burning topics like the sale of "The Buzz" and more.

This show, like every show, is packed full of laughs and GBM goodness. If you pay close attention Hugo drops a bombshell - new device in his house for over 4 days and nobody knew - and Warner shares some real life Tablet usage scenarios from the Theatre. Sit back and enjoy as we cover News, Forum Topics and delve into the Topic of the Day. For your enjoyment here's Podcast #20.

We live on the bleeding edge of technology here at GottaBeMobile.com and sometimes we trip and fall over that edge and land on our faces. That’s what happened with getting this podcast recorded, edited, and mixed, which is why it is a few days delayed getting into your hands. (The stories will make for a couple of great discussions at some point in the future once all of our hair has grown back from all the follicle pulling that has been going on.)
Suffice it to say though, that we’re back with another GBM Audio Inkshow with lots of Tablet PC and UMPC goodness to talk about. Not only that, Hugo’s back from CeBit Australia, and Dennis and Warner grill him on what mobile gadgets he saw and didn’t see and much more. And yes, we are still flirting with getting in trouble with PETA.
Here’s the notes for show #17:
And we spend some time picking Hugo’s brain about what he saw and didn’t see at CeBit Australia. Do you know about the PocketSurfer? Hugo’s got his hands on one.

Well, the Three GBM Podcasting Tableteers are not together on this show, but you still have the Dynamic Tablet Duo! Our buddy Poogie Ortega (otherwise known as Hugo -- I gotta hear the story on that name) is out and about this week running around doing his techie mobile device thing and having breakfast with bloggers at Cebit Australia, so instead of talking TO him, we talked ABOUT him (And Rob also )! Warner and I had a great conversation this week, and there is a lot going on in GBM news and forums, but we especially hit it pretty hard on Rob's recent "Wow" posts and subsequent activities. I also went on a bit of a rant on the Vista Tablet features that lots of folks seem to be missing out on, so tune it for all that great conversation between Dennis and "Pookie-Smoochie Pumpkin Pie Face", otherwise known as Warner Crocker. We told a few lies, had some fun, and ragged on Rob a bit. How much more fun can we have? We missed you this week Hugo! (but he'll be back next week I am sure!). We'll see you again next week with show #17! All GottaBeMobile.com InkShows are sponsored by:

Yeah, yeah, I know, it's not really show #1, but it feels that way since we have made a new committment! This is actually #14 for our team. We have done a few sporadic Podcasts in the past, but now we really mean it. Dennis Rice and Warner (what is that guy's last name? Oh yeah, not I got it) Crocker have made a committment to do around 4 of these shows a month, so get your subscription while it is hot!
In this show, we have a special guest, none other than our new teamie, Hugo (aka Poogie!) Ortega from Australia. We hope that Hugo will be joining us for more of these shows, as will the other members of the GottaBeMobile team. In addition, in the future, we are working on a list of special guests that we hope to get some commentary on as well, so you wanna be keeping an eye out on this little podcast folks!
Join us as now we just have a great chat about a few Tablet PC and UMPC related topics! Here are the show notes and a few links for you to follow along on as we share our thoughts:

It is Audio Inkshow time again and the GBM Team is truly mobile. (Although we still don’t know where Matt is.) Rob’s in Las Vegas and Dennis Rice and Warner Crocker actually get together in person for a rendezevous prior to a super top secret GottaBeMobile mission. We can’t tell you what the secret mission is, because, well, then we’d have to kill you. But before these intrepid sleuths donned their super secret gear they sat down for this week’s Audio Inkshow. Note that this week’s show was recorded using the dual array microphones on a Toshiba M200 Tablet PC, so you may notice a hit on the audio quality.
Dennis and Warner cover a number of recent news items as well as highlights from all of the activity in the GBM Forum. Download the Audio Inkshow Here (32mb, 34:58, mp3 format) or you can subscribe to our Audio Inkshows in iTunes.
Here are some links to items and forum threads referenced in the show.

It is Audio Inkshow time again. Dennis Rice and I get together virtually, (which is a good thing given how steamed Dennis is about Josh Einsten’s pointing out his uncanny resemblance to a former US president,) and talk Tablet PCs and what’s going on in the GottaBeMobile.com forums. We’re trying out a new format and a new audio recording solution as well. We highlight a number of recent news items as well as highlights from all of the activity in the GBM Forum from the members. We point out some great threads that are generating a lot of discussion.

And don’t forget, as of this posting you have one more day left in the Make Me Mobile With Motion Contest. You could win a Motion LS800. The deadline for entry is Sunday 10/22. So, come on, make our jobs harder and get those entries in.
And just for fun, here’s a link to Josh Einstein’s post. Do you agree with Josh, that Dennis looks like Bill Clinton?
Again, we’re trying out a new format and new audio recording, so let us know your comments!

And special thanks to James Kendrick, the All Father of Tablet PCs, for giving us some pointers and tips on recording and audio.

Earlier this week, we let everyone know that forums were coming to GottaBeMobile.com on Friday, October 6. In this Audio InkShow, Warner and I sit down to talk about the decision to do forums, the Tablet PC community, Vista, and Tablet PCs in general. During the recording, Warner accidentally used the “podcast” word and the police sirens started going off at his house – hilarious! Apple must have been listening in….

Before you head out for the weekend load up your favorite podcatcher with this GottaBeMobile.com podcast for some great conversation about Tablet PCs and UMPCs. I sit down with the big GBM guy himself, Dennis Rice, and we discuss Dennis’ recent adventures with the new TabletKiosk eo i7210 and his installation of Vista on his Toshiba M200. Dennis provides some great insight on both topics and much more. We probably both say a few things we shouldn’t that will upset our respective wives, and we take advantage of the fact that Rob is out of town to rib him a bit.
