Good friend of GottaBeMobile, Loren Heiny, is giving away 20 copies of Ink Gestures to the first 20 people that respond to the thread in the new GottaBeMobile Forums. Each copy is valued at $39.00 US!!

More about InkGestures:

AN EDITING COMPANION FOR MICROSOFT WORD

InkGestures is a Microsoft Word 2003® Addin that enables you to edit documents using the pen on a Tablet or Ultra-Mobile PC. With InkGestures you have access to over twenty copyediting commands. Capitalize words. Italicize words. Create bullet lists. Insert text. All with a pen.

DESIGNED FOR TABLET AND ULTRA-MOBILE PCs

InkGestures is designed to make copyediting even more natural on a Tablet or Ultra-Mobile PC. With pen-based editing you can make changes to a document much like you would on paper yet have your changes applied to the document immediately.

Plus InkGestures makes it easier to edit when and where you want. Whether you're sitting on an airplane editing a manuscript or on the couch editing an assignment, you can be more productive with InkGestures and your mobile PC.

SUPPORTS EDITING E-MAILS IN MICROSOFT OUTLOOK

When you use Word to create e-mail messages in Microsoft Outlook® (which Outlook does by default), you'll have access to the same pen-based editing capabilities in Outlook.

All you have to do - Go to THIS THREAD and post as to why you want a copy of Ink Gestures - that's it - First 20 posts will get a PM from Rob with the registration code!!

Rob has already reported that Craig Pringle is working up his new Vista app SearchPad to allow you to enter Search data in ink. Loren Heiny is also doing a bit of tinkering with Ink. He's taking a look at adding pictures and InkGestures capability to Google's web word processor, Writely. Keep at guys. We'd all like to see more inking available everywhere.

Lora just IM'd me a post from Loren - With InkGestures for Word out the door, he is now working on InkGestures for PowerPoint. He’s got a cool little animation posted demonstrating the concept. Cool stuff, Loren. I bet the folks at Microsoft are really going to love you now!

When demonstrating InkGestures Add-in for Microsoft Word one of the most common questions is: "Will InkGestures work in PowerPoint." Up to this point the answer has been no. Well, now that InkGestures Add-in is released we're back to attacking the PowerPoint challenge.
