Cloudbook Now Aimed For February 15 Release

- Warner Crocker

Quite a few folks were disappointed when the Cloudbook from Everex was recently delayed from hitting the shelves. Remember the Cloudbook is going to be available at Wal-Mart and there is a lot of attention on that marketing strategy as well as the device. The delay was chalked up to some tweaking of the gOS software. Looks like they are calling the software Rocket and from what Bjorn Stromberg is saying at Ultramobilelife.com it is going to be using GoogleGears to keep your life in the cloud synced with your life off-line. New target date for release? February 15.

The specs they list look similar to the EeePC, except the 30GB hard drive! Wow, for the same price as the EeePC.

I can't wait to see jkk install a touch screen.
